Thembalethu Community Centre is an NGO situated in the Greater KwaMhlanga Area in Mpumalanga Province. The Centre takes care of orphaned and vulnerable children in Thembalethu (which means “Our Hope”).
Services that Thembalethu Community Centre provide include:
Matters of governance and policy are overseen by a Board of eight local Pastors. The management team is comprised of three full time staff members responsible for the day-to-day running of the Centre. There is a staff complement of sixteen workers (14 women and 2 men).
Thembalethu Community Centre currently reaches out to and supports 100 children of Grade R to Grade 12-going age.
Audits are done independently on a yearly basis.
